As part of his doctorate, which he undertook through AGSL at Torrens University Australia, he developed an issue diagnosis and problem-solving model known as the ‘Strategic Objective Analysis and Implementation Model’ (SOAIM). This tool has been successfully applied in project oriented real-world environments in both the public and private sectors.

He has also provided advice to the private sector in fields as diverse as manufacturing, imports, service industries, product development, asset realisation, mining, trade and medical research. His guidance to these organisations has included governance, business ethics, corporate structures, trusts, partnerships, joint ventures, resource management, licensing, intellectual property, insolvency law, risk management, product development and liability, leases, contracts, mortgages and charges, litigation, human resource management, and contractual dispute resolution.

Prof. Moschoudis provides advice to local governments in New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria. Such guidance has included governance, ethics, development of procedures and policy, realisation of property, government imposts, dispute management, mediation and resolution, contract formulation, interpretation of government policy, legislation, administrative law and recommended reforms.

Prof. Moschoudis is on the board of the ACNR Foundation, a not-for-profit research facilitator which funds and brings together leading global clinicians and researchers, with the objective of developing treatments for children and adults who suffer from CASK genetic disorders.

For 12 years, he participated in the Practical Legal Education Program, where he supervised and trained law students, including training in research, critical reasoning, analysis, ethics, trial preparation, and case theory development.

Prior to practising law, Prof. Moschoudis was an operational officer with the NSW Police Force, undertaking duties as a covert operative, and was seconded to the Major Crime Squad (Sth) and later the Drug Enforcement Agency (Special Forces). Following this, he took up a full-time position with the Special Operations Group (SOG’s – Suth). As an operational officer, he has worked jointly with ADF (UCO), whilst also providing operational support to ASIO operatives and Special Branch (NSWPF) as it was then known. Following his time in operational policing, he was later designated as a prosecutor (NSWPF), appearing in a wide variety of criminal and civil cases, acting for internal clients, such as the NSW Police Commissioner, and external clients, such as NSW Fisheries and the Centennial Park and Moore Park Trust.

He has worked with the Sydney Regional Aboriginal Corporation Legal Services and has participated in the NSW Bar Association’s Pro Bono Scheme for over a decade.

Prof. Moschoudis has written and presented papers over the past 20 years to legal practitioners at Continuing Legal Education Forums. These seminar papers have included leadership in the law, business practices, legal procedure, and substantive law.
